ElderAid's Care Managers serve as dedicated, compassionate professionals who coordinate and oversee the holistic care of seniors. They act as a single point of contact for families, handling everything from medical appointments to daily tasks and companionship.

ElderAid’s Caretakers provide hands-on, compassionate support to seniors in their daily activities. From helping with personal hygiene, mobility assistance to offering companionship, our caretakers ensure that seniors receive care in the comfort of their homes.

We are bringing back the tradition of the General Practitioner's house visit to check on your elder periodically! We also have a panel of doctors who provide tele consultation support. Your Care Manager will be present to ensure that the doctor's instructions are carried forward.

The internet is a wonderful source of entertainment and mental stimulation for elders! Our Care Managers provide the elders with patient handholding to help them pursue their hobbies and interests through relevant tech support; a key part of this support is also to help elders stay connected with friends and family!

In an emergency, ElderAid will do what it takes to provide the elder and their family all the required support until family / friends arrive - this includes: ambulance coordination, coordination with doctors, arranging for medicines, tests, bedside assistant and keeping the family informed.

The Care Manager escorts the elder to the hospital / doctor, be it for a routine check up or treatment, and engages with the Doctor to understand post-visit follow throughs which he/she them implements - be it a test or a change in medication, keeping the family informed at all times.

We work with a team of skilled nurses and physiotherapists who are available on call to visit your elders and provide them the required nursing support (IV infusion, injection, catheterization, wound care) and physiotherapy (musculoskeletal conditions, age-related issues such as balance and pain and neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinsons).

During every home visit, the Care Manager does a set of routine diagnostics to check vitals (BP, temperature, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, blood glucose & ECG). In addition, we will coordinate specific Doctor-prescribed diagnostics at-home / at the lab.

The Care Manager monitors the elder's pillbox, ensure its stocked (and consumed) as per Doctor's prescription and he/she also regularly updates the elder's medical records. He/she immediately flags off any anomalies in the vitals' recordings and/or elder appearance and reported health condition to the family and facilitates timely medical attention / intervention.

Your dedicated Care Manager coordinates with the elder to run their errands, pay their bills, pick up their groceries (including their favourite brand of pickle / masala!), fruits and vegetables and medicines as per prescription to ensure that they are healthy and worry free!

​

Our Care Managers accompany their elders on social visits, to the mall for shopping or even on out-of-town trips and pilgrimages. We support travel arrangements, including bookings and pick-up and drop of the elder.

House needs painting, repairs? Civil work needs to be done in the bathroom to protect the elder from slipping / falling? Reach out to your Care Manager for such bespoke support as well!

Our Care Managers have been carefully selected based on their genuine desire to spend time with elders! Rest assured that they will chat and spend time with your elder. We also support specific conditions such as Dementia which benefit from focused engagement in terms of playing board games with the elder, and so on.
